Walter Wilk Jr has significant work experience in the insurance industry. Walter started their career in 1989 as a National Accounts - Senior Consultant at Aetna Casualty and Surety. From 1993 to 1997, they worked at Sheppard Riley Coughlin as a Senior Vice President. In 1997, they joined Marsh as a Managing Director. From 1983 to 1997, they also served as a Commissioned Infantry Officer in the United States Army Reserve. Walter Wilk Jr has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Rhode Island, which they obtained from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, they attended Mount Saint Charles Academy from 1977 to 1983 for their College Prep education. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in related fields, including one from Cornell University in Strategic Decision Making and Critical Thinking in 2001. Walter has also obtained multiple designations from The Institutes in the years 1992 to 1995, including Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, Associate In Risk Management Designation, Associate In Loss Control Management Designation, and Associate In Claims Designation.
