Mr. S Sampathkumar is Group Head - Liability Products, Third Party Products, and Non-Resident Business at HDFC Bank. In his current role, Mr. Kumar is responsible for developing Retail Liability portfolio – offering products and solutions for offshore and overseas branches, strengthening Pivate Banking Group Product & Research, ATM, Demat, Virtual Relationship Manager & BBG Product.
Prior to joining the Bank in August 2000, Mr. Kumar was employed with Integrated Finance Company Ltd.
A professional with over 25 years of experience, Mr Kumar has several career milestones to his credit including the biggest deal of the Indian Private Banking space in 2008; leading the Bank towards pole position in the FCNR (B) collection in 2014; and charting a successful growth trajectory for the Bank, among several others.
He is an alumnus of the University of Madras, Tamil Nadu. In his personal time, he enjoys a good round of golf. He is also passionate about creating platforms for individuals with physical and mental challenges to showcase their talent.
